About the Project

We wanted to create a simple sugar-flavored* skin for this wiki. A skin is basically everything you see on this page that is not content or functionality, e.g. icons, colors, layout. After we did that we where contacted by SJ from OLPC who wanted to reuse it for the "official" OLPC Wiki. So we tweaked it some more, invented a name** and provided it as a download. It's now in use at wiki.laptop.org.

* This wiki looks a little like the sugar interface that was created for the XO laptops.

** The name plays with the austrian expression "Schicki Micki" which means something like ''trés chique''.
