Idea

Involved
Description
(E)
Tic-tac-toe is both a very simple and widely known game that has kept countless children from falling asleep during boring classes. The idea of this project is to design and implement a tic-tac-to activity that allows two children to play against each other via the X0-1's Mesh network. (At least initially no single-player mode will be included.) Apart from the final activity the project's goal is also to kick-start game and activity development at OLPC Austria. Given that the game is currently scheduled to be developed during our first GameJam we also consider this a trial-run of how such events can be organized and hosted. All in all we hope to learn many valuable lessons from this experience so we can apply them to future projects.

Goals
- to design and programm a multiplayer tic-tac-to activity that works over the Mesh network
Ideas
- the orange "x" and "o" from the current OLPC Austria logo could be used for the "x"-s and "o"-s in the game
Current Status
- development is currently planned to take place during our GameJam starting on Friday, June 6
